Muscat, 19 November 2024: Masirah Oil Limited (“MOL”) today announced that gross production in October 2024 from the Yumna Field in offshore Block 50 Oman, amounted to an average of 2,555 stock tank barrels per day (stb/d) over the 29 days of production period (Full month average: 2,390 stb/d).
There was a planned two-day shutdown in mid-October 2024, during which the bulk water system was successfully integrated. This strategic enhancement has resulted in an estimated production increase of 400 barrels of oil per day (bopd) in overall production after 18 October 2024.
In addition, gas lift systems were initiated on 31 October 2024, with the aim of further optimising operational efficiency and production capacity in conjunction with the bulk water and gas lift subsystems.
MOL is the Operator and holds a 100 per cent interest in Block 50 Oman.
